I'm guessing that the $700 price tag is USD, and I'm wondering quite why there's so much interior detail when there must be very limited ability to actually see it.
There are photos and even a video of box opening, which I skipped through a fair bit of.
If you have the interest, $ and time, you'd probably finish up with an impressive model.

Don't forget space along with the other requirements. That thing is HUGE!!!
There are at least a couple of companies producing 1/32 scale Lancaster kits and at least one offers the option of a clear plastic fuselage section for viewing the inner detail.
I've got a few kits waiting to be built (they've been waiting some time), but I don't think I'll be adding a 1/32 Lancaster as I don't have the skills to do it justice.

Re: border models 1/32 scale lancaster
I remember when I was a lad, I built a 1/72 scale model of the B-52 bomber (I think it was monogram), it was quite massive, I had to use the top shelf of a large closet to store it. When we moved from London back to the States my parents would not let me take it as it was just too big, I was not upset about it, I had quite a large model collection at the time and knew I could not keep all of them.
I just did the math, your 1/32 Lancaster to my old 1/72 B-52 its 0.6 inch shorter but has a wingspan 7.4 inches wider. I hope you have a lot of space, or are you planing on hanging from the ceiling with wire?
Today the kids don't build models like I did when I was young, most of those who are still building them are us older folk who built them as kids, who now have the money to spend on a quality kit. Since the volume of the kits sold are lower they have to charge more to make up for the development costs and make enough profit to keep going.

I regret that it's beyond both my ability and budget

I only listed it for those who may be interested.
