One of Britain’s newest commercial airlines in several decades, Flybe Ltd, has today announced that Birmingham Airport will be its new company headquarters and first new crew base.
Amongst one of the first UK airlines to be certified by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) since Brexit, Flybe will serve key regions across the UK and EU with operations scheduled to begin in early 2022. Thanks, Graham.

I've been following the re-launch of Flybe for some time and it was announced that Birmingham Airport (BHX/EGBB) would be the HQ some time ago. I've just been waiting to see what routes would be served, for which the announcement is due very soon.

They've been doing many training/familiarisation flights from Birmingham, mostly to Cardiff, Exeter and Liverpool.

Ah! Hadn’t heard. I’s it a new livery or that horrible purple thing they came up with?

Oops!, sorry Ben. I edited my post above, before I read your question. As you can see, it still retains some purple, but it's not as bad as before.
