The cockpit's really good Nigel. I'll post a couple of screenshots later if I get chance. I've not down CloD for years, so not sure how it compares. May have to do a reinstall and take a look.

Hi Dave, thanks will look forward to seeing them. BTW, Cliffs of Dover has been updated, if you have the Steam Version just download Cliffs of Dover Blitz. They have made quite a few changes to the Hurricane including a Hurrie Bomber, when firing the guns you get smoke with the tracers updated engine sounds etc. All in all, I wish it could be transported into FSX!!

There's a bit of wear and tear, but I think overall it looks a bit too clean

Just re-downloading CLoD Blitz, so I'll check that out later.

That is a brilliant cockpit Dave, from memory the only thing that is slightly different is the yoke, the CLoD Hurricane has a more rounded yoke whereas the one you have is more oblong. You will also have more switches that work than in CLoD, overall a masterpiece now it will be interesting when you get the chance to compare both in flight.

There is one thing that nobody seems to know when talking about the Hurricane in TWC and that is the message on the left hand side of the cockpit, Before Take-off Check Bobbin. Now what the hell is the Bobbin? Googled it without success so hopefully some-one here can help.

That notice about checking the bobbin:
It does not appear on all pictures of the port side of the cockpit, so may be particular to the Sea Hurricane.
The real pilot's notes don't mention "bobbin", but say to check that the hood is locked open before starting the engine.
The lubrication chart shows a locking plunger, and I think that the use of the "b" word in this context is strange. A bobbin normally has thread or wire wrapped on it. I have put the question to the chaps at Calgary (the Canadian restorers of a Mosquito and Hurricane mentioned in my earlier post)

The cockpit screenshots are of the standard Mk.1, not the Sea Hurricane, but the bobbin note appears on both.
The Hurricane in Cliffs of Dover had the note too, although not highlighted in yellow.
