My old airfield is for sale!

Post by FlyTexas »

The only problem is a nearby house is also part of the deal. Only a cool $13,950,000. This airfield is the same one seen in my avatar. Time to speak to DaveB about a low interest loan, me thinks. *-)

I'll chuck a fiver in the pot Brian.

Good luck with the fund raising.

Indeed. With a daily income of $38.219, it can be yours in 12months. I'll ask Ben to add a 'Donate' button to this thread though as the new owner, I think you should consider upping the landing, hangarage and maint fee's at the airfield. Every little helps

In this day and age when everyione is looking for a bargain, might I suggest that Brian makes all take offs free and only charges for landings :hide:

Ideal place to have to get away from noisy and nosey neighbours, kids screaming and shouting, throwing/kicking a ball into the garden, peaceful evenings ruined by the sound of hedge trimmers, lawnmowers as you settle down to watch tv. :wall:

Now what makes you think I'm anti-social?

Regards
Nigel.

Ok. A friend has offered to pay half. 8) His half plus Graham's fiver still leaves me $6,974,995 short. :( Oh well, it was a nice dream. The only problem with that house (besides the insane costs of upkeep) would be the fact that I'd never see my kitties. 14,483 sqft of space would give them plenty of hiding places.

No, Brian it won't cost anything like $6,974,995.
I'm sure Graham's offer of a 'fiver', would have been in Pounds Sterling. At todays exchange rate of $1.3/ £1 that makes his fiver worth $6.5!
That knocks a staggering extra 1.5 Dollars of the remaining price

Brian,
A friend offered to put in half, don't you have another friend who'd put in the other half for you?
I think my house would fit in that porch in the main picture. :-O
