VStudios Bearcat

Post by DogTailRed2 »

I hit the VStudios website on a whim and everything was £2.
So bagged a few disc versions of Horizon Sims scenery and three aircraft. Avenger, Dauntless and this little beauty.

Flys quite nicely but does have a few issues. Namely after landing I cut the prop pitch and mixture and the plane split in two, burried it's arse in the ground and exploded? :dunno:
I know that prop delivers some torque but wtf

p.s. I know FSX is 10 years old now but I had to do a double take on the pic passing the crowd. If it wasn't for that horrid taxiway line.
Thanks to whoever made that beautiful Duxford scenery.

I think it was actually this site
https://www.flightstore.co.uk/aviation- ... shing-m133
the prices seem to fluctuate quite a lot. They went from £2, to £8 now at £6 ish.

In fact fsx scenery is now £3.50!

btw in regards the three aircraft they are quite nice but do have some issues.
They are quite old models but at £2 (when I purchased) worth a gamble.
I haven't really flown the Avenger or Dauntless but the external models look nice.

I saw a note on the VStudio's support page that:
Please note that the DVD's from flightstore.co.uk are old stock which they are selling off and are no longer supported by Vertigo Studios.
The latest version including any updates are available to purchase from our website and include full customer support.
After considering that and the extra cost of airmail to the colonies I decided against it.
