A bit bumpy but..

Post by DaveB »

.. better than I expected!

Took off from Brawdy with nowhere in particular to go. Just continued north until somewhere popped up and that somewhere turned out to be Aberporth. Don't think I've landed there before :-O

Swapped the Auster out for the Texan at Aberporth..

As is the norm with the Texan.. it either loses power or cuts out at some point. It's now on a hill not far from the Loop

A2A selling something that conks out?
I had trouble with one of their super-real Piper Warriors.
I did a full engine rebuild, was told it was in showroom condition, but when I tried to take off, they said that the engine was shot. :wall:

Yeah.. and to be honest Mike.. I think I prefer Wozza Carters model. It can be a cow to start if you don't follow a few simple instructions but it doesn't conk out like the A2A model often does. If this is reality.. I'm surprised there are so many still flying  Think I'll just turn off 'Damage' for now.
