Is that the Capt Sim version Dave? Think you got Graham running to stock up on his malt to keep him company in the shelter

Yes mate. Bought it years ago in an annual Captain Sim sale for $9. ;) For 9 bucks.. it's ok but I'd not want to pay full price for it. Had there not been the Duxford paint already done.. I'd not have bothered as it's not my cup of tea. A nice external model and I guess the VC is ok. Imposing to look at (as is the real thing) but not a barrel of laughs to fly. Now it's had its bi-annual flight.. I'll move it off to another HD until 2019

I see they didn't bother with low-vis national markings.
Still, when something's the size of a small village, it's a bit hard to hide! :worried:

Low vis didn't come until later mate. I can't remember the history behind the Duxford buff off the top of my head but I think it arrived in a similar scheme. It stood outside for some time but now lives nice and warm in the US hangar ;)

I've just looked up the meaning of BUFF, and how very rude it is! :-O Had to wash my mouth out :guinn: :guinn: :guinn:

Seeing as you like your carrier landings, Dave, let's see you replicate this:

If you're not up to that, try this: :poke:
