P3d 3.4 was released last september but I waited for the various supporting software to catch up so yesterday morning I decided to start updating. I renamed my old p3dv3 folder so I could refer back to it and started installing. P3d went ok, ASN went ok so I started installing all the ORBX files, which went ok until I re-installed FTX central and then it would no longer recognise my P3d folder, and half my payware aircraft (CaptainSim and JustFlight) would not recognise the new folder either. So late last night after much wailing and gnashing of teeth I gave up. Moved out the new p3d 3.4 folder and restored the old 3.3 folder.
So much for progress.
End of rant.

Did you delete these files? Just renaming the main program will not help.

Re: P3D 3.4 Headaches
I have done this before, made the mistake when upgrading to 3.2 of installing over the old version, worked very cleanly when I upgraded to 3.3 to rename the old folder and do a clean install. Its not so much that p3d does not work, it's all the extra's than want you to install and don't recognise the new version as compatible.
