NAMC ys-11

Post by dodger »

Hi Gents,

I downloaded this F9 twin engine Japanese airliner to use the props from it for another aircraft in FSX, i then thought i would fly the ys-11 in FSX as it's not a bad model, it takes off fine and fly's ok but landing is another thing! in F9 it lands ok but i find in FSX it floats on touch down and continues at speed so a go around is done but try as i might i can't land it as other aircraft,

Long winded but can i make it heavier in the aircraft cfg or is there something else i can change?.

Cheers,

Roger.

You could try adding in the [flaps] section:

drag_scalar=1.2

& then play with the decimal point value until you think its about right. I had this value in my DH90 Dragonfly. I don't have the YS11 model so its a guess at the moment.

I notice this line doesn't appear in all aircraft.cfg's.
Good luck
Keith
