Hi Gents,

I have been using Flight1 Dodosim 206 ok but found out today it has stopped working and a SC box is flashing on the VC dash, reading the manual from Dodosim it needs SimConnect dll why this has happened i have no idea, i re-installed fsx as this SimConnect dll is supposed come with the install but NO it is still not working1

I looked on the net for the SCdll file but i can't seem to just download one without a load of other stuff, any help would be appreciated,

SimConnect.dll lives in C:\Windows\winsxs. Have you checked to see if it's present on your system? It IS part of the FSX install and should be there on your C:\ drive (regardless of where FSX is located). What version is your FSX at.. eg, SP1, SP2/Acc or Gold and is this the correct requirement for the Dodo Bell?

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the info, after hours today i realised i had fsx Acceleration pack in the cupboard so installed it and at the moment Dodosim 206 i working ok, i have not bothered with this pack before hence forgetting it

I have been like that chap in the states very near to shooting the pc,

At least re-installing fsx has cleaned it out,

It won't be long before it's bulging at the seams again mate and load times slow. Glad you got it working
