What is said in the small print.. Wore a red shirt and lived to tell about it.. repeatedly, refers to the fact that most actors in STTOS who wore red shirts DIDN'T live long 'Security' wore red shirts and these poor fellows were generally non-descript actors you only got to see once or twice.. reason being they were usually mauled to death or zapped by aliens. Basically.. see some bloke in a red shirt and you know his time on the Enterprise is numbered
