Cortana came in the last Windows phone upgrade.. Lumia Denim for Windows phone 8.1. You'll have seen the advert where matey says "Cortana.. remind me to wish Caroline happy anniversary". Coincidentally.. the upgrade arrived on our wedding anniversary so Cortana was already late I had a quick look online to see what users thought and found that leaving it an active tile drained the battery at an alarming rate so Cortana is gone.. banished to the back screen Who the hell is anal enough to use it as shown in the advert
I'm sure Eric is right and there are untold numbers of very interesting people asking their mobiles to remind them to wash behind their ears! I'm equally sure there's a real need for this sort of help and can't imagine what I'd do without it. I certainly can't imagine what to do WITH it
