Re: FSAddon Avro Anson
P3d installer is coming later this week apparently. I'll be getting it then.

Re: FSAddon Avro Anson
Yep I'll wait too. From the screenshots, it looks like they've done quite a number of variations, as they did with the Hudson, so it should please a lot of people. Lovely stuff !

BTW Dave (et-al).. just saw your post at the Outhouse and the price François quoted does not include VAT. With that added.. it's Eur24.14 or £19.73 in real money+/-

Roger that Dave. I went by the post over at Soh. Should have checked the website.
Still 20 quid for 13 different models isn't too bad.

Re: FSAddon Avro Anson
In the manual under 'Credits' to beta testers.. a certain Brian Gibbs is mentioned. I wonder if that's our very own Bridon Bear??

Re: FSAddon Avro Anson
Hmm.. how long have we all waited for one of these..

Apologies for the tardy AA
What you get in your 'Select Aircraft' window are 13 variations on the theme plus a tractor (which is driveable)
One of the 13 is a 'Float' version which will please the Canucks no end
Not tried it yet btw
Perhaps I was being a little too critical last night. While I was expecting a bit more.. looking around a few of the models and flightdecks this morning, it's certainly not bad.. perhaps not as 'polished' as the Aircraft Factory model either inside or out (out being a bonus because the shine on the AF paints kills me!!) but everything is there and I've found nothing broken yet. Not sure if this is a problem with the latest NVidia drivers or if it's by design but the tear-drop cover on the DF loops is semi transparent. I've not come across that on any phots of seen of real ones
It flies as you'd expect. Some versions will 'fly off' with little or no input and they all seem reluctant to drop their tails on landing. This wouldn't be so noticeable if their tails came up as easy.. not that they don't come up in good order anyway. Lots more playing to be done but for now.. the AF model will be retired. While the FSAddon model isn't (IMO) as well finished as the AF release.. it has everything I want plus a tractor to zip around the airfield or go sight seeing on
I believe a PK is on the way but I'm not holding my breath as Simon's PK's are from past experience, unlayered. A layered version will probably appear done by a-n-other interested party.. I hope!
