But don't criticise it! Any observed, well informed, pointed and well founded critiscm of a payware model over there results in threads being locked!

First glance the model looks very good, but, I hope that texturing is just WIP

All four marks???...1, 1B, 2, 2A, 2B, 2C 2D, C Mk.3, C Mk.4 are the types with the 2C being a 2B with fully feathering props if the option was taken up. Mybe some 2B were retrofitted and stayed 2B's ???

Yes, I like the looks of Mike's new model(s). The first screenshot in the thread linked above is of a rather gorgeous Lufthansa scheme, but it seems to me that the (for want of a better word) shine is rather OTT. While I recognise that the status is very much WIP, I don't remember colour schemes back then having that sort of shine - reflective, yes, especially when highly polished, but not much shine / sheen. In particular, I'm thinking of one of my early photographic efforts (of which I was very proud at the time) - a Kodachrome slide of a BOAC 707 taken at Ringway. It's very glossy but doesn't have any of that sheen shown in Mike's screenshot. Also, looking at the scanned photo that Mike's included in that thread, the plane is in bright sunshine but there doesn't seem to be any sort of reflection from the fuselage. So I was wondering just how glossy / shiny Lufthansa's colour scheme was back then ...

What say you ?
