Wood and fabric.

Post by DaveB »

Here's one taken from todays sightseeing trip.. Otherton to Welshpool (for tea and stickies) :)

Image

Is it me or does Otherton have the smallest runways in the world? The only thing I feel comfortable getting in and out of there in is either a helicopter or a Storch!

Model: DG's v4 Rapide
FSX SP2/ACC
Weather: ASN for today

Ahhhh - De Havilland as Uncle Roger from Flight International used to say.
Nice screeny, Dave and those clouds look great. I'm thinking about ASN for P3D (don't think it's available yet).
Was the take off run for the return leg a little longer, after all those sticky buns?

Cheers

Kevin

Indeed it was.. so much so that I flew on to Wolverhampton instead of returning to Otherton

I've seen updates for ASN (for P3D) on the Hi-Fi site but I'm not sure which version (of P3D that is) *-) Worth checking out ;)

ASN for P3d is out, although it's still officially a beta. I use it and it works great. The license covers both FSX and P3d, so I've got it installed for both sims. :)

I'll plead ignorance here... ASN? How does it compare / work with REX? :)

ASN is just a weather engine, it just uses whatever textures you have installed. So you can use REX for the textures & ASN for the simulation.
