Classic British Flight Sim

Today I was disturbed during my afternoon tea by a couple of low flying hooligans - firstly, this chap had the audacity to land in a field about 200m away:



and then I got a front row seat to Messrs Rolls & Royce, performing one of my favourite tunes - "Merlin by Fours"





We actually got 6 (yes, SIX!) encores, as he went back and forth, seeming testing his engines (quiet as a mouse vs full power) and undercarriage - we got a bit worried on his second return pass, though:



yes, those are the bomb doors open

But the only thing falling was my heart rate, as he disappeared off towards Coningsby...

Ah.. that EC135 is one I've not painted.. cheers

What a treat!
I'm still kicking myself for sitting indoors whilst a "DC3" cruised about over our town for 15 minutes.
Later on, a neighbour said "You'd have been excited to watch that Catalina this morning."

Mike, if it's rumbly, run out and rook - errm look - you never know what it might be.
I missed out on the Zuccoli Collection Fiat, from not paying attention.

I would stay indoors today Mike. It looks like a storm is approaching.

Good advice, Mate.
BTW - I was within a metre of that Fiat at Avalon some years back. Have a close up photo of the nose area in my album.
