Thanks for the HU Dave

I'll be getting that on release.

Do you know if those Seakings etc are static models, or AI?

Hi Dave :)

Can't guarantee but I think they're statics. Rather nice aren't they

Oh.. I forgot to add (in case it wasn't read in the thread) there's the usual discount for current users ;)

Hmmm, I couldn't justify shelling out for this. I'm quite happy with the original Vols 1, 2 & 3 and I don't use the base images unless I have VFR Photo scenery activated - which I only do for precise VFR navigation without using beacons.

I also use neither FTX nor GenX and have no intention of getting either. The current volumes integrate nicely into UTX + GEX, too.

I'm wondering if this is aimed at P3D v2 more than FSX?

Er, bought it online last night at the UK2000 website. I use P3D so will report back later today.

:-O :-O

Did you buy version 1 or version 2 Nev? V2 isn't due for general release for a couple more days yet.. or so I thought *-)

J0hn..
I couldn't really comment on P3D V2. While some of the testers may have it, it has not, to my knowledge, been brought up by the beta team. Generally.. it's an update to the existing release bringing the VFR airfields more in line with the Xtreme series. New models, new buildings, new just about everything. Rather more than a makeover one might say ;)

The pix are named "static2.jpg" etc, so I'd back DaveB on them being scenery only.

Cheers Mike.. I've not seen any of them flying in the 'inner sanctum' (though I'm not invloved with FSX testing) so I presumed they were statics ;) I must say the latest statics are a big leap forward over the older ones.. I particularly like the ground shadows
