Anyone know anything about this beast?

The manual makes it look tempting....

I have it, and it's a wonderful beast. A bargain at that price. Take a look at the SOH forums to see the very positive comments. Also the Sibwings support forum.

Thanks - I had a look at SOH and the reaction seems good, so I've taken the plunge.... :) Oh, well I'd only spend the money of something trivial like food... :shhh:

A very good promo. I want it. Even though I can't run FSX, and I don't read Russian, and I can't cope with their counter-intuitive artificial horizon. Ho-hum...

I have this, its a beast and half! If you like slow, not like cessna slow, this is even slower, then get it! Take off is very short, and RTFM!

Well first reaction is that this is an absolute beaut! It gets the Colt's quirky engine start with the flywheel spin up quite well comparing it with some videos I have seen of the real thing... Regrettably I've been a way for a couple of days so no chance to play..:-(

If you cut then engine and hold the stick back does the aircraft land?
Apparently the real one is meant to do this.

I've not managed it yet - mind you they are still playing with the FDE over at Sibwings to tweak performance so we'll see... :) There certainly seems to be a strong enthusiasm there for getting this to behave as close to reality as it can within the limits of FSX.
