Switching to map view - OK - back again - nothing, aircraft/panel vanished, but occasionally just instruments in view.
Can anybody suggest why this would be and a possible remedy?

Hi Graham
That sounds like the "W" key function where on press removes the panel, a second gives the vital instrument and a third press bring you back to panel.
Has something been re assigned?
Check you assignments and see what 'S' & 'W'W are assigned to.

Eric, I've taken to drinking Bruadar because I was told honey is good for you.
Graay, Tried the W key this morning with nothing appearing to happen, but when I flew a short while ago everything seems to be back to normal
. Again, thanks for your input.

Sounds a good enough reason to me Graham.Have you tried asking your quack if he can prescribe it on the NHS for the sake of your health?Eric, I've taken to drinking Bruadar because I was told honey is good for you.

Yes Eric, but the miserable sod won't play.
I tried suggesting that it was more beneficial for keeping my blood thin than aspirin - reply,"This is the NHS pal, you'll have aspirin and like it.
When I was first diagnosed with bladder cancer my consultant insisted on my becoming a non smoker. I agreed on condition that my malt was put on prescription. The second word was "off."
After the last examination last month he said he would write to my GP. I suggested that when he had finished his report that he add something on the bottom if it for me - malt on prescription - as my GP might take more notice of him than me. Again, second word "off."
