Britsim OK?

Post by emfrat »

Does anyone know of Britsim being attacked again? Last night (~12 hrs ago) my usual bookmark link gave me "can't find server' and this morning I get "Database connection error (2): Could not connect to MySQL." :dunno:

I forgot to pay the hosting bill (yes, I'm really that stupid) and they suspended the account last night.

All paid up this morning, may be taking a while longer to get the SQL back than it did the file server. I'll check again tomorrow night after work.

Have now set up a direct debit so I can't be a numptie again...

To be fair, though, you've had a fair bit on your mind lately preparing for interviews and tests, so I think you can be forgiven for letting something slip!

Congratulations, by the way!

Best,
Myles

Thanks Myles, yes, I have been somewhat distracted.

Worth it in the end though, still smiling! :)

Nope not yet for me, of course it could still be at the terminal waiting to get across the Atlantic. :dunno:

I think you may find that Britsim is on your side of the pond mate. It's not back here in the West Midlands yet either but give it a day or so and it should be fine ;)
