The Ultimate FSX Guide

Post by speedbird591 »

Avsim have released an updated FSX software/hardware guide (27 Feb) which collates info from all the other well-known guides (Nick Needham, Kosta, Bojote, Holger Sandmann, Phil Taylor etc.) and puts them all into one 'easy' 38 page document!

Now there's no excuse to waste your time flying virtual aircraft around virtual worlds. You can spend the rest of your life (and money) in building and tweaking your way to the ultimate flying system.

It's anal in it's detail so unless you're a PMDG 737NGX flyer you might just want to use it for reference ...

It's a comprehensive resource, though. No denying that! :S

I always find these guides a double edged sword.
You end up spending hours tweaking. Then two things happen. FSX runs the same or, you crash and trash your system necessitating a rebuild. Then your faced with more endless tweaking again.
I've learnt to try and fly more than tweak.
Although my setup hasn't played ball for about 10 months. It's playing hard ball!
