What did you do this Sunday?

Post by DaveB »

Had a busy morning here.

Popped to see HM (her FSX was playing up and we can't have that can we!)..

... then back to my Sunday retreat in the Midlands having stopped off for a couple of cases of Boddie's on the way..

Hope you've all been kept similarly busy!

That's a very smart paint. I like that. Have you been down to Weybridge since you move to the Midlands? How are the old grumps managing without their teaboy?

Ian :)

That is lovely mate! I'm beginning to worry about you. I think Mrs or Ms is slipping something into your tea!

Ian..
I've been back once since we moved up here. I'd only got as far as Walsall on the Triumph (4 miles) and I wanted to turn back. You can imagine how I felt starting back! I keep in touch with the boys regularly.. once a week if not more on occasion. I'm still 'officially' a team member so I'm kept up to speed on what's happening and copied in on all the releases. The troops are fine.. well, as fine as they're going to be  Len, now in his 90's, has called it a day. It's too much for him to drive from the South Coast on a weekly basis but plans are afoot to go and get him every now and again. ;)

The Brooklands paint..
I didn't know what to do about the front.. and I still don't  I may make the front panel green and the L/R windscreen frame yellow/gold (to match the upright pillar). I left it as it was just to see what it looked like :) Can't beat a bit of British Racing Green ;) I may put 'go faster' stripes on it yet

Dave,
I hope the crew on G-AZTI are armed, looks like a gaggle of Heinkels 4 o'clock high. *-)

Ah yes.. they be sh1tehawks amigo ;) Not sure what's responsible for them.. UK2K VFR airfields or Treescapes but they're all over the shop. Must be UK2K as they're to be found at most if not all airfields :)
