Thanks for the HU. Am interested in this, as today bought REX Essential plus Overdrive from Flightstore. Had a little go with it this afternoon and very impressed with it all, made it even more realistic, but for some reason am getting horizontal screen tears everytime that I go flying now. Very visible in the VC and when looking outside, it resembles a plate of jelly and also get the tears.
I agree that it's a good product. I found the old REX took up a bit too much of my time configuring, but this one takes a minute or two before I start FSX (always use random weather myself) and I'm hoping it will be even better combined with Accu Feel v2.
Thanks for that, I spent ages waiting for the update for Rex Overdrive I ended up re-downloading Rex from the FSS and installing the new full Rex Essentials (after a big gulp as I pressed uninstall of the previous version). All went well and I will once again hold my breath as I try this update over the weekend.

I've never had tearing but have read about it. It's apparently caused by the video card and screen display refresh rate not being synchronised (vertical synchronisation or V-Sync).
Many tuning guides, including Kosta's, recommend setting V-Sync in Nvidia Inspector and selecting half refresh rate. Then assuming your screen refresh rate is 60Hz you set your in-game fps at 30 to synchronize.
Scroll down to the V-Sync section and further to the Nvidia Inspector settings guide.
My settings are exactly as per Kosta's and work perfectly in P3D as well. He has a lot of followers in the hobby. Whatever - I hope you get sorted, Martin.
I'd used Kosta's guide before to set up my FSX, which was before REX running very smoothly, BUT hadn't used the VSync tip and so now everything is back to how it used to be. Should have bought REX at the beginning of my upgrade from 2004 to FSX as finding it changes my world completely.
