Accu-Feel Version 2

Post by Bridon Bear »

After spending more than I ought on the various sales such as Carenado etc.. :worried: my next purchase was to be the A2A Accu-Feel enhancement in a week or two, this little utility has been already purchased by a few on here with good reports so whilst taking another look today, I was very pleased to see a new announcement from A2A on the 24th December.

Basically, there is to be a Version 2 of Accu-Feel in the near future that has extra features most notably water drag and wave height settings which will make amphibious aircraft that much more enjoyable and realistic.

For all those considering purchase I would hang on a bit...but don't worry if you have this already as they mention at the end of the video that they will credit the full purchase price against the new one which can't be bad.

Anyway...take a look at this video of theirs and see for yourself http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtop ... 23&t=33124

Hello Brian,

This has got to be the best thing i have seen for Flight Sim, as i have only had FSX a short while this is one addon i will buy for sure when this version 2 comes out, i really don't know how you could not fly without it!

Thanks for the link,
Cheers,

Roger.

Thanks for the info Brian. I'll definitely be upgrading to that. I've been a fan since Nev (scorpius) recommended it a while back. It should be compulsory because the effects are wonderful and transform my simming yet it's very cheap, doesn't change any files, is easily switched off and has a great range of adjustments accessed by a simple control panel.

And now to have water effects as well! Very highly recommended!

Ian :)

I've had Accu-Feel v1 since it first came out. Great add-on. It's one of those that does it's magic in the background so after a while you tend to forget it's there, but turn it off and everything feels so sterile and lifeless.
I'll definitely be upgrading when v2 comes out.

Glad that I'm not the only one champing at the bit for this little utility... :)

As for what they have in the pipeline...yes a Cessna 172 and a Piper Cherokee are amongst others all mentioned in this video here

Having had the misfortune to fly a 172, its the most horrible little airplane, both in looks and to fly. The Piper Archer and Warrior are superb by comparison. The 172 is up there in 737 territory:lol:
