Yoke in FSX

Post by dodger »

Hi,

I have been trying to remove the yoke in the default cessna 208 caravan without success,

In F9 i could remove the yokes by painting over them using the DTXBmp utility, although you do not remove the yoke just make it transparent, i have looked on various sites but some say you can do it in FSX some say you can't!

I am not that clued up using this DTXBmp just enough for my needs and wondered if anyone here had any ideas.

Cheers,

Roger.

FSX can use the alpha channel of textures as either transparency or reflection depending on how the models' materials were set up. Most 'X models use it as reflection, in which case there's no way of "painting" a part out.
