If Heineken made scenery ...

Post by speedbird591 »

The other day I bought a couple of Aerosoft Alaskan airports reduced in a sale, presumably because no-one wants to go there in the winter? Anchorage was for P3D and installed with no problems. I took a chance with Fairbanks because it was for FSX but I hoped it would work in P3D.

It didn't work in P3D as the terminal building was missing. I tried all the possible installation variations but no luck. I took a chance on the Aerosoft support forum, admitting that I was being cheeky, but asking if anybody had any suggestions.

Along came an Aerosoft bloke who says he thinks they were planning a P3D installer for it and he'd ask. Next day he comes back and says he's testing an installer. Today he comes back and says the P3D installer is available in the download store!

So I downloaded it and it works perfectly. How's that for service for a £15 purchase?

Go Aerosoft :welldone:

Ian :)

Great :welldone:

Refreshing and rare to see someone in a business realising what is really important about their products :excited:

Good stuff Ian. Haven't had anything from Aerosoft in a while, but I remember their support is pretty good. If only they would include night textures with those city sceneries they do. :(
