Thanks John, already making good headway have sorted out the reflections tided up the right side wing and looking at parts i can add to make it closer to the real thing (found the wing blends into the body at the back with a radius) finding things i havent ever noticed before. also looking at making the RAT work (so it drops down out of the wing) think i will endup remaking alot of the parts with extra detail as well. :cpu:
UPDATE
been working on the wings and getting the shape right also closing off the inner wing (behind the airbrakes) also working on the elevators
Image
also been setting up the landing gear

it really helps having all my old files the landing gear just loaded up and most of the animation worked fine, just have a load of hydraulic pistons to add now and the air brakes which will need to be made from scratch as i have had a good look at the prototype and the airbrakes are unlike all other vulcans they are backwards compaired to the production ones and also the bottom has two(this was reduced to one after they found the nose dipped with two)

Lmao its on its way john just want to squeeze as much detail in as possible, with thanks to Garry Russell i have found much better ways of working by " making my own poly's" the results are much better although the model looks the same as last year i have repaired loads of odd looking polygons hopefully wont take too much more work to finish up :thumbsup:

ok i have a almost finished model i made a video ;

just a few details to tidy up and some texturing to do and i think im about done for now :)

having a goo think about what i can do next quite fancy doing the canopy removeable and at some point making the bomb bay (huge job as i have to remodel the whole center section)
i have modeled it on the wingfold but i am open to sugestions as to how to model these add on bits for keyframe animation

I look forward to this one with great anticipation since this is a prototype have you given any thought to an Avon soundset? If you haven't I Think I may know a few.
