Partly inspired by Peter McL's video of the Trident with the ground vehicles from the other week, here's a "real world" video I filmed today for comparison, featuring a soon-to-be-classic British jetliner. Apologies for the wind noise, it was about -12C before you subtract the windchill. Brrrr.

It should be possible to watch at 720p, not quite sure why that doesn't appear to be working all of a sudden

Nice video Toby, your a brave man standing out in that weather, I could see the snow flakes You kept that camera still!! was you using your SLR in movie mode?

Hi Tony, yes, that's the SLR. It's partly aided by the image stabilising lens, which gives a rather weird sensation to the final video as if one were filming from a car with soft suspension.

As if the cold temperatures weren't enough, last night we had a 4.2R earthquake. Not so amusing as I have two BWR nuclear power stations near me!
