I am trying to set up a flight with an F27A from Cal Classics using your truly marvelous panel (dated Feb 2011).
What I can't seem to get to work for me is to have the flight load with the aircraft cold and dark. I can get the engines to stay shut down ok, but the electrical panel insists on opening up activated with all electricals on. I found a line in the Aircraft.cfg which says Electrical_always_available=0 which I deleted, but with no difference.
Is there a way to get the electricals to stay shut down when the flight loads?
Thanks.

Re: Question for Fraser McKay
Hi Kelly,
In two words...you can't.
Firstly the panel is designed tor the aircraft cfg and airfile supplied with the package, not any other with would-be improvements.
Secondly the electrical system, amongst others, uses many local coding variables, which cannot be saved in any other configuration other than the default value of zero, So for example, if a battery switch in the ON position has a value zero, it will always load, however saved, at value zero, in this case ON.
cheers

While it isn't the answer I was hoping for, I do appreciate the quick reply and now that I know, I'll stop beating my head against this wall and move on to another...
The panel is superb, nonetheless, and I for one appreciate the work you and your colleagues do for the rest of us.
