Classic British Exotica
Hi All,
Long time occasional lurker, first time poster. Hopefully this is in the correct place, if not apologies.
I was wondering if anyone is/has developed some of the more unusual projects that graced the drawing boards of the numerous British Aviation Companies over the years? Things like the Saunders Roe SR.177, Hawker P.1154, Vickers V1000, ATP-MRR, Fairey Delta III, the numerous Trident variations that were proposed (Bi-Dent, Maritime, 757 clone &c) and so on?
One of the great things about FS is that it allows us to get a glimpse of what some of these proposals would have actually looked like flying over the UK.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, i'd be greatly appreciative. I'm sick of browsing FS sites and seeing endless variations on the "Boeibus 73207". Modern 'planes are just dull!

Hi MB and welcome
I've got this sitting on my hard-drive which gets tinkered with occasionally

Whether it'll ever get finished & released is unlikely though

Hi DG, I bought Damien Burkes new TSR2 book and there are some nice drawings of the 1121 in there.

Re: Classic British Exotica
I know historically CBFS has only built factual British Aircraft, but that leaves a lot of experimantal one-offs to cover.
Kind regards
JR
PS I quite fancy a P1154 though

Hi Everyone, and thanks for your replies,
If anyone can point me in the direction of some of these models (That Hawker 1121 looks incredible, btw!) it would be appreciated.
I would have a stab at modelling these things myself, but my one attempt at GMax ended in spectacular failure.
Once again, thanks for your input, and i look forward to contributing again!
