Hello.
New at this forum, I'd like to thanks the developers for this excellent add-on.
As I'm flying the Vintage Propeller World Tour from IVAO, I have elected the aircraft I'll use on this tour.
My question is about the other cockpit views, as I can only see the pilot's view, although there are the other files on panels folders.
I have searched the forum and I have not find any reference on this thread so I believe I'm missing something.
I'm running FSX.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Best regards
Schmid

Hello Schmid
welcome aboard
I'm not quite sure what you mean by only seeing the pilots view
On panel view you should have views from the left seat of the flight deck interior are you not seeing these?

FSX don't have "Cockpit views" as you know them from FS9.
FSX uses camera views, and that only works with a 3D model, so if you don't have a Virtual cockpit, you won't be able to see "wing-views / cockpit views" as u did in FS9

Hi, gentlemen.
Thank you for your replies.
In fact I know that there is no VC for this aircraft.
I was not very clear at my first message but I was referring to 2D views - left, right, rear and forward left/right. The bmp files are on panel folders but I cannot see them. Thet are not even at Menu-Views.
I believe as it is a FS9 add-on I must edit something at panel.cfg.
Kind regards
Schmid

Re: Vikers Viscount cockipt views
Hello Schmidt and welcome
The 2D view feature is not available in FSX and as far as I'm aware there's nothing you can do to the panel cfg. to change that.
The majority seem to prefer VCs these days although I'm still not sold on them personally. Another reason to stick with FS9
cheers

Hi, Fraser
As Dan stated above, yes, unfortunately this is due to FSX and I have nothing to do except to wait for a FSX version of this great add-on.
I'm not a big fan of VC also although it seems to be a one way ticket so I have to get used to it. On the other hand, I really do not have complains on FSX except that I have not found a nice vintage airplane that was created for it from scratch.
Thank you all for your help!
Best regards
Schmid.
