Has anyone tried the S76 and actually got it to work? Installed both the base and the update and got it to load once for about 5 seconds. The other tries just got a CTD - MSFS has had an error and has to close -. Even tried to install manually and included an "improvement" patch from the folks at Hovercontrol. Got it to load the first time and be stable for about 30 seconds before it crashed, thereafter it crashed on load. I even started with the standard Cessna flight shut down, and also tried a direct startup with the S76. Finally got fed up and dumped it. Funny thing is I tried with 2 separate downloads thinking the initial one may be corrupted. I tried their H500D without problems but that appears not to be the usual case. Based on other postings on a few websites, this appears to be normal.

Anybody have any better luck?

No wonder this is awesome freeware. Tamas and Peter are always on the run for these. Wonder if it works with FSX though...the Bell 206 comes handy for some gauges ready for major surgery with the panel.cfg in case FSX goes into a sudden CTD. Thanks for the link anyways! :cheers:

Just to update this;

Finally got this to load correctly and flew it. Very nice, even don't mind the VC (not a big fan of them). My only problem is the 2D panel is in a great position for IFR work but rather limiting during landing and takeoff manuvers.

This is a great product, glad its available as freeware.

Turned out the problem was the "old sound modules" requirment. Apparently this set up is required so it doesnt CTD on load up as was troubling me.
