It's being done by Aeroplane Heaven.

Looks nice, but I doubt if it will be troubling my wallet

Looks nice but we already have a very good model with a very competitive rice tag :)

Thanks for the HU, Erich. As Dave mentioned, this is the same model under development by AH:

It looks very good, but it'll have to be exceptionally good to convince me to part with my $$. They've got a tough act to follow on the heels of DM's models. I'm glad to see they're at least including the prototype and Comet 2 models. I might be tempted to take a dive strictly on the basis of those models. We'll see...

According to a post (by the dev) over at Sim Outhouse they're only making the 4C at the moment:
For the moment we are concentrating on just the 4C. We always like to include a prototype in our releases but the time it takes for yet another model is against us on this one. Maybe, as you say, an expansion....

Well, Lord Maltby (surely it will be announced in the New Years Honours list) has the pretty much covered, so AH & JF won't be seeing ny of my hard earned on this occasion. And of course the earlier versions have now also been dealt with, courtesy of Jens' superb Comets.

It's a curious choice of subject matter - Bazzar is well clued up on what's out in the marketplace, so must surely be aware that DM's Comets are going to be virtually impossible to top; I can only think he is banking on the FS X market. *-)

I have DM's Comets installed in FSX, along with the Tridents, BAC 1-11 and the VC-10s (the VC-10 is the only aircraft I have installed that does not have a VC) so that's saying something as I'm a VC flier.

I don't know if I am missing anything as I didn't have FS2004.

Apart from the smoke effects not being in line with the exhausts (from memory as I'm on my laptop away from home) I can't recall any other issues. Can anyone confirm problems that I am blind to?

Saw the Aeroplane Heaven Comet page a while back when searching for Lockheed Constellations. :)

There is a simple fix for the smoke

Basically the X,Y co ordinates were switched in FS.X. :wall:

There are threads about the VC 10 in FS.X.which I can't find at the moment

But there are folks here you can explain what to do or point you to the thread :)
