I still don't have a licence to fly the VA - so I hope I am not breaking any rules. Its not really relevant but it might arouse someones curiosity; have just flown my BEA Elizabethan for EGLL to EKCH using the 1953 BEA timetable. This gives timings of 1505 take off and arrive 1800 which I set in FS9 with weather off. Data as follows:
depart 1504 cruise alt 10000 - arrived 1756 (FS Nav) fuel used 1333 kg. Power was set at 1150 BHP (BEA Normal Scheduled power setting). This gives cruising speed of 167 Kias with rpm at 2070. This (fuel burn) is rather more than you have for the Ambassador fleet but is what is required to match the schedule timings in the 53 timetable.
So DaveB I think I have sussed out FS Nav now, as this was the best landing I have ever done - can I have some virtual BEA silver service champers, please.

Re: Elizabethan
Breaking rules...........well you are guilty of having a good time and passing stuff on to help others enjoy themselves better.
This is not allowed in today's World
........but don't worry, I won't tell anyone
Thanks for that Paul. All information gratefully recieved by anyone. Thanks for posting it
