Alphasim made aircraft that I'd actually buy :-(

and Valiants, Victors, Vulcans and so on and so on!

It's such a shame that they've repositioned themselves, they really were (for me) one of the most insightful and affordable payware brands

Ho hum

Kind regards

Very nice ;)

I had not realised that AlphaSim had done a Shorts Sperrin. Must have blinked & missed it.

I think apart from the Catalina, (was it built under licence in the UK?), all British, and flight sim apart, a reminder of the wonderful aircraft industry we had in the 20 years after WWII, (don't mention the war :(( )

Well I'm glad you like the shots, it's just such a shame that (I suspect) we'll never see the likes of them or the frequency/value of them again :-(

Kind regards

John

Ps There used to be an 'Alphasim Oldies' section at sim-othouse, I'm not sure if they still have that section... any ideas anyone?
PPs here's a few more old pics (maybe they should be in the Gallery section)
