A little Info please

Post by parksie10 »

I has having a look at Classic British and this led me to classic Jetliners. Does anybody know off hand whether any of the airliners there come with VC?

Parksie..

Are you talking about HJG?? I don't know of a 'Classic Jetliners' site other than HJG. If so, I can't speak for every jet there but the ones I have don't have VC's (707 series) :)

If it's not HJG, post a link if you can ;)

It is HJG, and it is the 707 series that I was interested in. I have the FSND 707-420, but saw some 320'2 in South African Livery. :hide: its just after 2 am here and the mind is a bit slow :) :)

Parksie

HJG Resident Nick Botamer gave you the answer to this question over at HJG, they also have a FAQ thread, therefore I'm finding your post a little irrelevant.

If you want a VC for the 707's I advise you advise you download Mr. Guzmans' freeware 707 at flightsim.com (search guzman 707) or failing that go and purchase Craptain Sim's 707.

There are various alteratatives to the HJG models (albeit Payware) that include VC's that you may find more relevent:-

Boeing 707 - Alrot (Freeware), Libardo Guzman (Freeware) / Captain Sim
Boeing 727 - Alrot (Freeware), Dreamfleet / Captain Sim / Aerosim
DC-8 - Aerosim
Bae 146 - Aerosoft

Others you may find relevent:-

DC-10 - Aerosim / CLS
Tristar - Perfect Flight / Aerosim
737-200 - Aerosim (Only 737-200 with VC to date)
747-100/200/300 - CLS / Aerosim

I hope this helps, if you are willing to part with some hard earnt.

No VC's at HJG and none to come as far as I am aware :) Still you get a multitude of panels for the 707 in fact pretty much one for every type.... likewise for the DC-8's etc. Something that the payware chaps dont do ;)

Hi Ben, sorry to correct you and I'm still not sure -
but as far as I know, Aerosoft's 146 doesn't include a VC...

But Parksie, from what I have read at the dev. corner - there might be a new 146 coming up, hmm? :)

Cheers,

Nick
