** - VC, 2D panels, sounds alias default FSX B747.
Looks like CS are doing an AS and just releasing the exterior...?????

Seems a bit odd that you get the exterior model only?? It looks detailed but only half a job if you dont geta panel and sounds.... I would expect that from freeware not payware :S

That was my thought too; Pretty "outsides" are nice, but with a 747 cockpit... what about the other 4 engines ? It would have to be pretty cheap...

Too be fair, it is marked down as exterior only, and I think 7.50GBP of anyones money is worth that exterior model.....nice I will admit.....but no FS9, so no purchase :worried:

Can I join to your bank please Ben ;) although even at about £9.10 (plus a £1 overseas card charge I'll get) it looks like a cracking exterior model, hope it doesn't kill the frame rates though. Nearly the end of the month so could well be landing near me in a week or so :agree:

There are a couple of good freeware sound sets for the B52 so maybe these could be tried with it as well? Think they can be found on AVSIM - probably called The Real Deal or something like that and probably by TSS.

Dave.

According to the Captain Sim website, they can't even promise there ever will be a VC:

http://www.captainsim.org/yabb2/YaBB.pl ... 67/120#120

Quote:

Just to confirm, as for to date, the B-52 product is just an exterior only with nothing else promised.
So if you like the model, you pay 9.99 (thank you!) and you enjoy the model as is.
If you do not need an exterior without VC/systems, then we are sorry we can't help you today.

As for the future, we will see what the future will bring us.

I doubt its very easy to obtain information and photographs of the current B-52 interior, so maybe they've shelved it and released the exterior model to recoup some of the cost. At that price, and with that caveat in place, its not unreasonable. The dedicated screenshot artists in the FS community will probably snap it up.
