My first FSX scenery project released...

Post by Trev Clark »

.....but you need to have Horizon VFR Gen X Volume 3 installed to use it!!!

I have just finished my first ever scenery project (but have several more on the go), Linley Hill in south Yorkshire, home of the Hull Aero Club. Although a default airfield (Rwy and fuel only), I am pretty sure this the first time it has been enhanced in FSX. I have also planted plenty of AG trees and added some local farms and 'tractors' etc.

You will also have to download the super (free) UK VFR object Library too (instructions in the file) to see all this 'eye candy' but as the airfield is small, FR's seem good on my PC.
Here is the real thing.....

And here is my version.....

Here is the download link, thanks to Tony Meredith for hosting it.....

WOW Trev, for a first timer that is excellent. :welldone: No doubt it will be sold out very shortly when those from the dark side see it.

I don't suppose there would ever be a chance that you would delve into something for us proper simmers!! :worried:

Regards
Nigel.

Thanks guys, if I can sort the awkward terrain blending out, the next airfield will be in East Sussex (another small one, working my way up to the RAF airfields), again never been seen in MSFS, as far as I know. Any guesses?

Hi Folks

Trev -
Looks a lovely addition.
Look forward to future productions.

One very minor comment. :D
Parking TACR adjacent fuel tank
probably contravenes licence, insurance, usefulness etc..

I've never felt so frustrated....... died so frequently/spectacularly/or needlessly....... yet had so much fun, in a long time.
