FS9 display settings

Post by TSR2 »

Hi Guys,

Anyone running a NVidia 8000 series card on FS9? I'm curious as to which settings you are using withing FS9 and on the card drivers as I can't get rid of the jaggies. :wall:

Hi Mate, Just to clarify I wasnt mean what why the sliders are, more what setting you have under the display properties. I remember years ago the common thinking was force the setting on the driver and ignore the settings in FS9. Nhancer is just bloatware on x64 systems I'm afraid so not much good to me.

Hi Ben
I run the 8600GTS which on 1280x 1040? ran brilliant with everything maxed out I use FS9 Anti Alias and found now janglies, however I did suffer blurries of scenery in the distance but nHancer cured that. The only reason I am moving to a 8800GTX or 260GTX is that I now run 1680 x 1050 and the frame rates have suffered a little. I dont use the latest drivers I think I run the 182 version or siumilar (i'm on my laptop at moment so until i switch the big one on I cant remember)

before nHamcer I just set everthing in FS9 re trilinear and AA and it was fine, I made sure as I used two monitors that both monitors in FS9 were the same resolution as the desktop, oh and I always run it in full screen NOT windowed.

Hm

I replied to this but it's gone :$

Anyway....just to add my bit, I set it in the game too but was advised to use bilinear but tbh I see no difference from that and Trilinear.
