Airport Design Editor

Post by nigelb »

I noticed on Avsim that version 1.45 of the Airport Design Editor (ADE9X) now supports FS9 as well as FSX. I have downloadedd it from http://www.airportdesigneditor.co.uk/ but have not had time to try it yet. Looks like it has a lot more features than the original AFCAD 2.21 program but it has a very similar interface. Anyone have any comments on it?

It is without comparison the best "airport-editor" available, and for a price that everyone can afford!

It now includes the ability to relatively easy code approaches into your airport, and the very usefull cross-runway technique has also been implemented with this release.

This and the fact that it is usable in both FSX AND FS9 makes it unique....

The guys behind the program are also very renown people, who knows their ins and outs of FS in general ....
Best Rgds

Thanks Dan! Yes, in the past I have obtained other utilities and read many of the tutorials on the Scruffy Duck Scenery site and found them excellent.
