New Pilot

Post by Ant1981 »

Hello.

I've just signed up wit FSA and also Venture Hawaii as that's where I have to begin my training.

Just trying to find out what the next step is to the type rating, what to do, what I need etc.
I like this flight simming, it's fun.....

Hello Ant

Wrong Forum :o

For Venture Hawaii you need to be on Classic British FIles :)

If you're gonna make a bloomer.. that's about as bad as it gets

Cheers Ant. Join our forum then join Venture Hawaii  I'm feeling charitable so you're not immediately barred ;-) Grade A plonker springs to mind though

Oh shit, bit of confusion there. I must have got confused when someone from here put me over to VH to get my rating, all the the 'classic' aircraft and stuff.

So what VA's is this forum for?

Hi Ant..

Has someone been fishing again!

Our VA (unsurprisingly) is CBFS.. Classic British Flight Services. Do you honestly think we'd have a VA called Venture Hawaii?? :dunno:  I guess the confusion has come with the initials. While it was a nice idea for CBF (Classic British Files) to use those initials/words for their site, you are not the first to have been confused by the similarity ;-) Reading the VA section here first might have stopped your present predicament. I leave you to sort out where you want to be :cpu:

Finally, took about half an hour to get back in the forum.

Yes, perhaps it was fishing. I had 'considering to join a VA' as my signature. It was there for a while, so I guess 'VH' decided to recruit rather than one of you guys.

I'll have to think now, if I can change. Or if it's too late, go with it, enjoy the career and see what happens in the future.

After my training, it will be my priority to get the hell outta Hawaii and back into England with them.

I get slows too but these are complete task bar freeze and sometimes time out :@

Yesterday PM it was going through but perhaps 5 mins to actually load....and that's no exaggeration......I went and made a coffe and still it was trying to connect when I got back :worried:

I don't think here's the problem....I get the impression it is general web traffic. :dunno:
