Still here - sort of, at least

Hey, folks. Just wanted to let you know I'm still around, just not doing much at this time. May be a while before I feel like doing much at all.

Early last month I drove to Texas to get my dad packed up and move him back here to California. While I was there he got sick and I had to put him in the hospital. Two days later he passed away. It wasn't totally unexpected as he had suffered from a very serious heart condition for many years. Still, it was extremely sudden and as such something of a shock. I ended up spending nearly a month at his house getting things taken care of before finally coming back home.

I am still dealing with the aftermath of his death, such as arranging for a probate lawyer where he lived, dealing with his credit cards, shutting off utilities and such. Between that and adjusting personally to his loss I just don't have the energy or desire for much gaming right now.
