I seem to remember them being painted a rather nice Forest green when they operated from Rush Green

Leif....86-91....during the fall of the wall....got some great piccies of the old chippies....and the old pembroke "spy" plane that came up everyday...
At work at the mo....will try to get that ugly ish paintjob you wanted to you soon as... ;-)

Now all we need is a Bristol Freighter,DC3,Dc7 Argosy,Britannia, CL44 and a Dc8-60s and you could paint the whole ugly fleet

I remember one sitting in the flying club hangar at Luton - he did a smart job - actually found a way of doing away with the spray arms along the trailing edge.
As I remember the set up was a bit Heath Robinsonish LOL
