I seem to remember them being painted a rather nice Forest green when they operated from Rush Green

Leif....86-91....during the fall of the wall....got some great piccies of the old chippies....and the old pembroke "spy" plane that came up everyday... :thumbsup:

Now all we need is a Bristol Freighter,DC3,Dc7 Argosy,Britannia, CL44 and a Dc8-60s and you could paint the whole ugly fleet

I remember one sitting in the flying club hangar at Luton - he did a smart job - actually found a way of doing away with the spray arms along the trailing edge.
As I remember the set up was a bit Heath Robinsonish LOL
