Neat.
I hope he has better luck crossing the Channel than the Top Gear boys had on a video I recently saw of them crossing in amphibious vehicles. Hillarious!

As it happens there is another milestons event that occured on the same date, cross channel too.....different year
Sixty-One years ago 25 July 1948, the first Jet passenger flight with 24 passengers was made between London and Paris in 34 minuets 7 sec. :o
The more mature members here will know the type of aeroplane but I wonder how many of the younger folk know what the first Jet passenger transport was???
