Vanguard and Viscount Video

Post by Nigel H-J »

Specially for Dave!!

Unfortunately this is done without any soundtrack as had not been able to find a suitable one.....just yet.

Sorry about the engine sounds as using a very cheap sound card.

Due to the problems highlighted in a previous thread concerning royalties for adding music to videos with Youtube, I may well re-do the first one only featuring the Trident Comet VC10 and BAC1-11 but extending it leaving out the Argosy Dove and HS748. These will very likely feature in a third video but only when I can find the time!!

Hope you enjoy this and please feel free to humm, whistle or singalong to it with whatever song you want!!

My thanks also to Tony for advice on using Virtual Dub.

The prop sounds confused me a bit. Anyone who's seen 'Airplane' will know what I mean

I really don't know how you have the patience to make these films Nigel ;-)

Loved the flypast at the end

Hi Dave, it did not sound at all like the Viscount and Vanguard when doing the flypast, may well be to do with the chase a/c, will have to try and remove the sound file completely from it for future vids. Glad you and Garry liked it though could have been better. :$
