My first love

Post by fallenphoenix »

Couldnt sleep last night so started wandering aound the internet and came accross this:

http://www.suffolkcoastalstrut.org.uk/b ... -diso.html

Jodel D.150 Mascaret G-DISO
She is the first bird I ever flew at the tender age of 13... a classic but also a "frog"

Also found that the first plane I ever jumped from crashed 2 months after my jump, C.206 G-STAT :'(

Anyone else got pics of their first mounts?

No pics but I can tell you my first flight was in a Chippie and my first glider flight was in a T.21 ;-) .

That's a lovely shot Garry  I didn't realise BUA had blue/yellow (for want of a better description) running under the wings too :o

Hi Dave

Sandstone and Blue they called it.........only on the Heralds, Carvairs and Superfreighters...like on the beta Superfreighter you have in that livery

Image

Notice on that One-Eleven link I put up the other day......G-ASYD in BUA livery also had the bands but they are on the top as well.

When the Heralds became BUIA and the Superfreighters BAF the bands were dropped :)

'Tis an age thing DaveImage

It certainly is a great shot and not an angle usually seen with a Herald :)
