unusual sight

Post by alan cottrill »

Hi All.
While haveing my tea,i saw a bright yellow rescue helicopter, flying low over macclesfield, then started decending, disappeared behind other house on the estate, but i estimated it to be landing near one of two roads, london rd or congleton rd,bit hard to judge the distance, but it must be something bad to use one of those beasties.

Hi Alan, not neccessarily something serious, the RAF can be called upon to attend to one casualty if need be. Our force (Lincs Police) have on two seperate occassions requested RAF Search and Rescue on two occassions (for missing vunerable persons) over the last six months when the Humberside chopper has been unavailable to assist.

Regards
Nigel.
