I plunged for this scenery as I love their stuff in FS9, Well I loved 9 Dragons but this is STUNNING... on my old system with Active Sky and full animation and everything else the FR was very good the scenery is outstanding well worth the leap from 9 Dragons which was superb itself. I am well impressed!!!

I dunno why he had to ask Tony!
Toyed with the idea of getting this but I don't venture out that far very often. That said.. I don't do Portland very often either but I have it installed! :worried:

Hi Ben..

Yep.. Portland is Flightzone isn't it.. I often get muddled with these pair  As it happens, I already have Providence as well as Vienna from FlyTampa.. both excellent bits of kit ;-)

I rate Fly Tampa's Kai Tak as my very best payware airport (and I have a lot of payware airports)...I just love going there beside the runway near the VASIs with "Advanced AIBlast" chucking out its wonderful noises...There is absolutely nothing in the Flight Sim world to beat the sights and sounds of that experience. Of course, it has to be in FS9 :flying:

Knew you would be! It's very authentic. I'm wowing all my ex BOAC/BA mates with classic screenshots. They've never seen FS and think it's some sort of magic. I suppose it is, really :)

Tony's seen these as I posted them on HJG but I think they're worth showing here. The aircraft may not be classic British but the airport undoubtedly is! Adding a sprinkling of retro AI finishes it off beautifully - for me ;-)

This little gem has now been added to my collection. ;-)

I find it hard to believe that there are so many buildings and bits and bobs to see yet it still runs very very well on my XP3200. A lesson there for the team who made VFR London which from bitter experience gives the worst framerates of any scenery I've ever seen! Pity it doesn't cover Aberdeen as I miss seeing the Tai Pak :cpu:
