Just got around to sorting out my PC....relocation etc...ruddy cables everywhere....
Anyway, I was lucky enough to have been given FSX Gold for Crimble and also a new 250gb HD. So before I commit to the install, I wanted to make sure that there weren't any pitfalls/golden rules to be aware of.
BTW, I also have the new Horizon GenX and uK2000 VFR Airfields to put on as well
So I shall be busy for a day or so....hopefully. ;-)
Well.. if you buy Accel separately, it also includes SP2 (hard written into the program.. not a separate item) and all 'Gold' is is FSX complete with Accel so no, no additional updates required ;-) FSX ready to go in one pack as it should always have been rather than the trauma M$ led us through
Thanks for the comments lads....sadly i have no room in the PC for any more HD so the external one is my only choice. My initial install for FSX last year was on a 160gb external USB HD with no noticable problems at all.....so that is the way it will have to be again but on the new 250gb HD....not ideal from the purist point of view and if I could utilise the internal drives I would but there you go.....better than 'nowt. ;-)
